93 Points - The Wine Advocate
"The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel Select is a smaller cuvée of 264 cases made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 50% new French oak for 22 months. Soft, round and juicy, with notes of road tar, forest floor, unsmoked cigar tobacco, crème de cassis and black cherries with a touch of fruitcake and allspice, this is a beauty to drink over the next 20–25 years."

92 Points - The Wine Enthusiast

"Spicy clove, pepper and a crunch of tannin characterize this full-bodied, 100% varietal wine that feels both leathery and herbal. Cassis and red currant notes add crispness and a wisp of fruit that grows darker and more chocolaty as it finishes."
