[Lodi, CA - January 5, 2023] —Thomas Allen Wine Estates has announced the promotion of John White to the position of Director of Sales. In this new capacity, White will be responsible for overseeing the distribution of Thomas Allen Wine Estate’s (TAWE) various brands in regional and overseas markets. Notable brands of TAWE include Provenance Vineyards and Hook or Crook Cellars. In addition to this, White will also manage a growing sales force team based remotely throughout the United States.
Since first joining TAWE in 2021, White has served as the National Sales Manager. Specifically, he handled domestic sales for the brands of TAWE while also supervising additional sales staff. During that time, White was credited with a variety of important accomplishments, includingexceeding annual sales goals and the successful mentorship of new sales personnel.
White has worked in the adult beverage sector for 30 years. His experience includes 20 years at the distributor level and 10 years at the supplier level. White worked at Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) for 11 years, giving him an excellent foundation in the adult beverage market, which made for a seamless transition into the supplier arena. Prior to his arrival at TAWE, White worked at Oak Ridge Winery for 8 years under various roles, with his final position being National Sales Manager.

White currently lives in Surprise, Arizona with his wife, Lisa. In his free time, White enjoys refereeing high school basketball and spending time with his grandchildren.
