Our goal is to showcase the individuality of Napa Valley's best vineyards and growing regions. We select top vineyards and gently guide the grapes into wine, striving to bring out the personality, complexity and uniqueness of each vineyard and vintage.
The famous origin story. Originally plated to Cabernet Sauvignon, but pulled out in 2003 without our investors’ permission, this Rutherford vineyard produces mouthwateringly tropical Sauvignon Blanc. Surround by Cabernet vineyards, it is a rarity.
Originally bequeathed as a wedding present to Thomas Rutherford, the deep, well-established roots of this Rutherford Vineyard produce consistently great flavors- no awkward adolescent phases with vintage variation, simply reliably delicious and complex fruit.
Grown on a plateau of iron-rich, red, acidic, deep soils, 1,000 feet above sea level, our Peterson vineyard produces aromatic and expansive mountain fruit. Planted entirely to Cabernet Sauvignon, the result is a concentrated and complex wine.
With volcanic cobblestone soil, this vineyard is as spunky as its former owner, Lillie Hitchcock Coit of San Francisco landmark, Coit Tower fame. Up in Calistoga with large diurnal swings, the result is bold, concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
High volcanic content in the soil of this Rutherford vineyard produces mountain-like fruit on the valley floor - complex, concentrated and with a distinct “sense of place”.
